Bethel Bible Village has cared for children of families in crisis since 1954, providing a temporary Christian home for the children until the crisis is past. For a season, we become part of their extended family. Some children stay a few weeks while others stay several months or longer, depending on the family’s situation. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care. They are introduced to God’s love and truths through the daily lifestyle of house parents and other Bethel staff. Polices and methods are based on Christian principals set forth in the Bible. Work and activities are guided by Christian beliefs. Children are accepted from all religious faiths. No child is forced to become a Christian. No child is shown favoritism because they choose to become a Christian. The Chair of the Board of Trustees, its 18-members and Bethel's Executive Director are charged with the responsibility of providing and directing the human and material resources needed for the children in care. Although we do ask families to pay some amount toward the cost of their child’s expenses, no child is turned away for a family's inability to pay.
