Located at 5135 Hixson Pike, the Bethel Thrift Store is 0.4 miles north of Northgate Mall next to Auto Zone.

What are the hours of operation of the Bethel Thrift Store?

(Retail hour only)

Monday  - Saturday     9:00 AM until 8:00 PM

     Sunday                        CLOSED

How does the Bethel Thrift Store benefit the children?

The extra income generated by the sale of donated items helps pay the bills and enables us to maintain the homes for the children and families we serve.  When you shop at Bethel's Thrift Store you help others while helping yourself.

Why doesn't Bethel use this merchandise?

If there is a need for any item at our Bethel campus, we use it. Children and houseparent staff can earn "Bethel Bucks" and spend them at the Bethel Thrift Store.

Can I receive a tax deductible receipt for my donation?

Yes. You can get a Donation Receipt when you bring your items to the Bethel Thrift Store. For tax purposes, you must keep up with your receipts. We do not maintain permanent records of noncash donations. By law, Bethel Bible Village cannot place a value on donated items. That is the responsibility of the donor.

Where can I take my donations?

Take donations to the back entrance of the Bethel Thrift Store on Old Hixson Pike.

Donations are accepted Wednesday through Friday, from 9:00 AM through 4:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM through 3:00 PM.

Do you have guidelines regarding donated items?

We accept new and gently used items. All used items must be clean, in working condition and saleable. Bring donated items in sturdy bags or boxes. Remove clothing from hangers and place in bags or boxes.  We reserve the right to refuse merchandise that is not in good working condition or is non-sellable to generate income.

Please do not leave donations outside the Thrift Store after hours due to theft.  If stolen your donation does not benefit the children of Bethel.
